The Eagles have got their 2026 season off to a promising start after beating the Washington Commanders and the Tennessee Titans through the opening two weeks.
It has not been overly convincing at times from Hurts, who was intercepted twice on Sunday against the struggling Titans.
However, the Eagles still remain one of the eight unbeaten teams across the entire league.
Hurts remains one of the most debated players in the NFL, with some people rating him incredibly high and others not so much.
Wilson is one of Hurts’ biggest fans, but he has admitted one technique of his may not go down well with his Eagles teammates.

During his time in Seattle, Wilson’s relationships with some of his teammates were frosty, to say the very least.
A lot has been shared by former teammates since the Legion of Boom era fell apart, with many feeling as if Wilson was ‘fake’ for his mindset that has also been shared by Hurts in recent years.
“Listen, I think Jalen Hurts and I are very similar. Obviously, he’s a competitor. I love how he goes about his business. He’s very neutral; he doesn’t get too high and doesn’t get too low. Obviously, he can run the ball well and he takes shots down the field,” said Wilson on the Set, Hut show.
“I think the thing about Jalen, and we’ve actually talked a good amount over the years, is that at one point, his mental coach was my guy, Trevor Moawad, who you know about. We always believed in this thought process of neutral thinking.
“People sometimes hated it, though. I had teammates who used to think I was fake because of it, but it was just that I didn’t want to be too high, and I didn’t want to be too low.”
Wilson has developed the reputation of being ‘corny’, with his mindset clearly establishing a poor connection with some of his former teammates.
Clearly, A.J. Brown and Hurts did not have the best relationship back in Philadelphia, with the wide receiver keen to move on from the Eagles.
Perhaps the mindset being taken on by Hurts is having a similar impact behind the scenes in the Eagles locker room as it did with Wilson back in Seattle.
