It's not surprising news -- the Irish took care of business with a 27-10 win at home against Michigan State on Saturday night. The game was close early and the heavily favored Irish struggled to run the ball in the first half. Notre Dame's more talented roster eventually won out, but the Irish didn't get many style points.

So, it stands to reason that a favorite that won without much flair won't move in the poll.

The top five consists of Texas, Georgia, Notre Dame, Ole Miss and Indiana. None of the top three moved up or down, while Ole Miss jumped up four after beating LSU. Indiana slipped one spot.

The rest of the top 10 is Miami (FL), Ohio State, Alabama, BYU and LSU. LSU dropped three spots.

Big movers in a positive direction were Louisville, which won over SMU, and Mississippi State. Those schools were up by seven and places, respectively. Meanwhile, SMU slipped by six spots and Texas A&M dropped by a whopping 14 places after falling to Kentucky.
