SKIPPERVILLE, Ala. (WDHN)—It's a battle between the Rebels and Purple Cats as regional positioning is on the line in this matchup of G.W. Long and Ariton.
Both teams enter this contest with a 3-1 record this year, as G.W. Long came out on top last week against Zion Chapel, and Ariton defeated Houston County.

The Rebels will kick off a two-game road stretch next week when they face the Elba Tigers in a non-regional matchup, while Ariton has a non-regional matchup against Dale County next Friday.
