According to Patriots coach Mike Vrabel, via Patriots Wire's Sophie Weller, running back TreVeyon Henderson and top reserve interior offensive lineman Ben Brown are both expected to return to practice on Monday.

Henderson has been nursing an ankle injury ever since he slipped during a run at training camp back in August, while Brown injured his knee in the preseason opener against the Indianapolis Colts. There are no guarantees that either player will be ready to play by Sunday, but the odds are certainly looking good with both being ready to return to practice.

It should be noted that Henderson made the trip to Lumen Field for the Patriots' opener against the Seattle Seahawks, even though he was listed as inactive for the game.

Henderson returning would be a huge lift for a Patriots offense that lost A.J. Brown to a high ankle sprain last week. The star wide receiver was placed on injured reserve and is set to miss at least the next four games of the season. Henderson is a home run threat every time the ball is in his hands, and he can double as both a rusher and receiver out of the offensive backfield.

As for Ben Brown, he gives the Patriots a reliable veteran reserve option at both the guard and center positions. With the addition of Greg Van Roten and the pending return of Brown, the depth on the interior offensive line is looking significantly better for the Patriots than it was a few weeks ago.
