A day after a report stated that the Tar Heels are adding Ryan Tibaldi to the staff, now a former player is joining the staff to round things out. Per Inside Carolina, the Tar Heels are adding former UNC wing Brandon Robinson to the staff.

Robinson played four seasons at North Carolina under Roy Williams, winning a national championship in 2017. This will be his second stint on staff as he joined Hubert Davis' staff as the first-ever graduate assistant in May 2021.

From there, he took a job with the Charlotte Hornets as an assistant video coordinator and then went out to Utah to take the same position with the Jazz. But now, Robinson is back home and joins a UNC staff that features college, NBA, and UNC experience under Malone.
