Chalk up another primetime game for the Broncos. This one is certainly going to be a tough matchup, but I’m glad to hear it’s a home game for Denver. The Rams are a great team and have a lot of offensive weapons. It has been a long time since the Broncos have been victorious against the Rams.
Denver has lost five straight games against them. You would have to go back to the 2002 season to find Denver’s last win—a close 23-16 gridiron battle at home. The last time the two squared off was in 2022, when the Rams blew the Broncos out at home 51-14.
Based on the leaks and rumors thus far, the Broncos first three games of the year are set. Denver will head on the road to face the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 1 on Monday Night Football. For Week 2, they will host the AFC South champion Jacksonville Jaguars. On Sunday Night Football for Week 3, Bo Nix will go head-to-head with Matthew Stafford and the Los Angeles Rams who went 12-5 last season in Week 3.
That’s certainly a tough slate of games to start the season for Denver.
