The Lake Travis vs. Cedar Ridge and Cedar Park vs. Hutto showdowns did not disappoint. Undefeated Cedar Ridge rode two goal-line stands in the fourth quarter to hold off the Cavaliers 35-34, spoiling Lake Travis' home stadium reveal after its $48 million facelift. And Cedar Park quarterback David Cooper's 1-yard touchdown run on fourth-and-goal with 48 seconds left kept the Timberwolves undefeated with a 37-35 thriller over the Hippos. And a late interception saved A&M Consolidated's wild 49-47 win over Weiss in District 12-5A DI.
