Team captain and starting right tackle Jude McCoskey left last week's loss against Notre Dame and was replaced by Rico Schreiber. McCoskey is one of two Boilermakers listed on Purdue's Wednesday injury report as questionable, along with defensive end Elo Modozie, who has missed the last two games.
If McCoskey can't go, it's possible Schreiber, who has played in all four games this season, earns his first career start.
After taking over at right tackle, Schreiber, Purdue's largest player at 6-foot-8 and 330 pounds, moved to left tackle while another true freshman, Terrell Berryhill Jr., assumed the right tackle spot.
Joey Tanona, who started all 12 games at left tackle last season, is out for the fourth straight game after suffering an ankle injury during preseason camp. Defensive back Mister Clark also remains out after an injury ahead of Purdue's Week 2 game against Wake Forest.
