Late Wednesday night, the Pittsburgh Steelers and Dallas Cowboys finalized a trade that would send disgruntled cornerback Joey Porter Jr. to the Dallas Cowboys. This is a trade that has been weeks in the making and finally puts an end to the drama that has been lingering for weeks with Porter Jr. and the team.

- Cowboys get: CB Joey Porter Jr.
- Steelers get: 2027 sixth-round pick, 2028 second-round pick.
The sixth-round pick the Steelers are getting was originally theirs. They sent it to the Cowboys as part of the George Pickens trade and now they get it back. Porter Jr. joins former Steelers Broderick Jones and Pickens with now three of the team's top draft picks in recent years all traded away to the same team.
