SIOUX CITY, IA (KCAU) - The Muskies held their home opener for the 2026 season on Saturday and lost 2-0 to the Lincoln Stars.

Sioux City struggled to get going offensively as Lincoln scored early in the first period. Goalie Hugo Sevgardh snagged 16 saves off 17 shots on goal. The Stars' second goal came on an empty net.
