The Red Sox final series of this regular season vs. the Chicago Cubs is dealing with weather issues, as Saturday's game was already moved to Friday afternoon to avoid the incoming Nor'easter. Now, Friday night's game continues to see its time moved up.
Boston and Chicago will try to get both of these games in, but the storms present the risk that one, or two, games this week could be moved. For now, the Red Sox will look to lock up the No. 5 seed in the AL playoffs by winning one of the two games scheduled for Friday.

Doubleheader Game 2 vs. Cubs start time
The Red Sox announced that the second game of today's doubleheader vs. the Cubs will now have a start time of 5:35 p.m. ET, moving the game up from 6:05 p.m. Presumably, the change is due to inclement weather in the Boston area that will arrive later Friday night.

The two teams should be able to get the first game of this series in without any issue, as the game will begin at 1:05 p.m. on Friday afternoon. However, it's unclear when, or where, the final game or two of the final series of the regular season will be played. The Red Sox hope to at least get the first two games of the series in on Friday before worrying about Sunday's series finale.
