Andy Green named Mets manager

QUEENS, N.Y. (WIVT/WBGH) – The New York Mets made a permanent decision on who will manage the team going forward.
Andy Green is interim no more, as he signs a three-year deal to helm the Mets' dugout.
Green was hired by the front office as the vice president of baseball development, where he helped lead the Mets farm system.

The Mets have gone 38-38 in Green's time in charge.
