Carthage shows poise on both offense and defense against Glendale

CARTHAGE, MO — The Tigers faced Glendale at home, trying to extend their win streak to three.
The intensity they played with both offensively and defensively was apparent, with the run game shining through and accounting for all of their early touchdowns.

Quarterback Slade Stiffler rushed for two touchdowns, and got his teammate Landon West involved who also had himself a game, scoring one of his own.
The Falcons would get their offense going despite the defensive prowess of Lamar, getting themselves two touchdowns on the board.
However that would not be enough, and Lamar would get the win, extending their win streak to three on the young season, by a tally of 46-14.
Lamar will take on Joplin next week, and Glendale will face Waynesville.
