The reigning Super Bowl champions released their latest injury report for Week 2, with the veteran wide receiver upgraded to full participant status after being limited in practice on Wednesday.
The 33-year-old Kupp is in his second season with the Seahawks, providing depth for Seattle’s wide receiver room that is now led by none other than Jaxon Smith-Njigba.

In Seattle’s 13-10 victory over the New England Patriots in a Super Bowl rematch at Lumen Field in Seattle, Kupp had 35 receiving yards on two catches and three targets. One of those catches was one for the highlight reels, reeling in a one-handed catch in the third quarter from a toss from quarterback Drew Lock for a first down.
A two-time Super Bowl champion, the former Eastern Washington football star Kupp signed a three-year, $45 million contract with the Seahawks in 2025, and is showing that he can still be a meaningful contributor to the team’s passing attack.
Speaking of Lock, he is expected to start for the Seahawks under center against the Cardinals, and his connection with Kupp will be tested anew. With Sam Darnold on the shelf with an injury he sustained early in Week 1’s meeting with the Patriots, Lock will be leading Seattle’s offense that racked up a total of 285 yards in the season opener.
