The Pittsburgh Steelers secured a hard-fought victory on Sunday against Cooper Rush and the Atlanta Falcons. T.J. Watt turned in a vintage performance on defense, but the offense under Mike McCarthy wasn’t firing on all cylinders. On 40 attempts, Aaron Rodgers averaged 5.6 YPA. That’s par for the course for Rodgers, but the passing offense has to threaten defenses down the field more.

Running the football has to be a big part of the attack, and Jaylen Warren forced four missed tackles on ten rushes, but lost a fumble. On 37 yards after contact, Warren still looked like a solid runner, but there needs to be balance on offense. Week 1 is weird and funky across the NFL, but the Steelers need to get the passing game on track.
