Bayer Leverkusen hope to have young talent Ibrahim Maza available for Wednesday's Europa League start against Slovenia's Celje.
"he wasn't in training because he is ill. We are playing tomorrow evening at 9 pm. We will see how he feels today and tomorrow. If he can play he will play. But we have to wait and see," coach Carles Martínez told reporters on Tuesday.

Martínez would not want to reveal his starting XI but confirmed that Mark Flekken would be in goal. Dutchman Flekken has also played in the three Bundesliga matches while Jens Blaswich played in the German Cup.
Leverkusen are coming off a 2-2 Bundesliga draw at Augsburg. They won Europe's second tier event in 1988 and were finalists in 2024.
Leverkusen will not underestimate the Slovenian champions but Martínez said that "the objective is clear tomorrow: We want to win."
