If Harry Kane returns to England where would he go? One pundit has an idea
· Yahoo Sports
If Bayern Munich star Harry Kane eventually decides to return to the Premier League, former Tottenham Hotspur goalkeeper Brad Friedel believes there is one club that would stand above the rest — his former team.

Friedel knows Tottenham well after playing with the club from 2011-2015. The former United States international enjoyed a long Premier League career, also playing for Liverpool, Blackburn Rovers, Aston Villa and Tottenham. Friedel made more than 450 Premier League appearances and remains one of the most experienced American players ever to compete in England’s top flight.
Given his connection to Tottenham, Friedel believes Kane’s history with the club would make a reunion the most likely destination if the striker ever decided to leave Bayern Munich and return to England.
“If Harry Kane returns to the Premier League, I think he would prioritize a move back to Tottenham. I couldn’t see him signing for Arsenal or Chelsea,” Friedel told Jackpot City Casino. “If a club like Liverpool or Manchester United made an inquiry, his representatives would likely inform Tottenham first to see if a deal could be done, but if there was an incredible package from one of those two, I think we could see it happen.”
Kane’s relationship with Tottenham would make any potential return particularly compelling. The England captain spent his entire senior career at the club before joining Bayern Munich, becoming Tottenham’s all-time leading scorer and the club’s most prolific Premier League goalscorer.
A return to North London would also allow Kane to continue pursuing the records and milestones that remain within reach in England. However, Friedel does not completely rule out a move elsewhere. Liverpool or Manchester United could potentially tempt Kane if they presented a financial package that Tottenham could not match. Arsenal and Chelsea, meanwhile, appear to be much less realistic destinations in Friedel’s view.
For now, though, Kane remains focused on Bayern Munich and is expected to ink a contract extension in the coming months (should the two sides agrees on the length of the extension). However, if his Premier League chapter ever resumes, Friedel believes Tottenham would have the inside track.
