The Packers kick off their 2026 season against the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday, Sept. 13, from U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Talk about pressure. The Vikings are certainly in a transitional place as a franchise, but getting going against an NFC North foe ratchets up the intensity of this season from the get-go.
It's a big season for the Packers. There's a belief that they're in a Super Bowl window right now, which means every single game is important. That means the intensity will be there in Week 2 at MetLife Stadium against the New York Jets and it will certainly be there in Week 3 against the Atlanta Falcons, when the Packers will play at Lambeau Field for the first time in 2026.
There's going to be a lot of proverbial ink spilled on this 2026 season and we here at PackersRoundtable hope that you spend as much time as possible with us talking about the ins and outs and ups and downs of the Packers.
As we prepare for the 2026 season, though, we're going to kick things off with a rankings series looking at the Top 50 Packers heading into the 2025 season.
At No. 35, we have cornerback Benjamin St-Juste

Nate Hobbs was released and the Packers used their first pick in the 2026 NFL Draft to select South Carolina cornerback Brandon Cisse.
The other big plan at corner was the addition of a veteran who could bring some solid experience and depth to the cornerback room, and the Packers believe they found that player in Benjamin St-Juste.
St-Juste is heading into his sixth NFL season after being selected by the Washington Commanders in the third round of the 2021 NFL Draft out of Minnesota.
He's a huge cornerback at 6-foot-3, 200 pounds and he's going to compete with Cisse and Carrington Valentine for the role of CB2 early on.
In that regard, his experience could pay off.
In four seasons in Washington, he notched 206 tackles, 34 passes defended, four forced fumbles, three sacks and one interception, and he started 45 of the 54 games he played in.
He took more of a backup role last season for the Los Angeles Chargers, but he was also in a stacked defensive back unit featuring Derwin James, Cam Hart and Donte Jackson.
2025 Synopsis:
St-Juste played in 16 games for the Chargers but only logged 356 snaps. In those snaps, he notched 29 tackles (19 solo), one interception and seven passes defended.
He missed just one single tackle, per PFF, and was also ranked as the top cornerback in the NFL in zone coverage.

Projected Role in 2026:
On the high end, St-Juste is the CB2 for the Packers and starts every game. Some of that depends on Valentine and whether he can hold onto his job. Some of it depends on Cisse and the speed of his development.
At the very last, St-Just projects to be an important player for this defense who could triple his snap count from last season.
