Arizona Cardinals might have RB solution for Green Bay Packers

· Yahoo Sports

The Green Bay Packers have potential problem with their running back room. The Arizona Cardinals might have a solution for it.

Packers running back Josh Jacobs was arrested and jailed on five charges, including battery, criminal damage to property, disorderly conduct, strangulation and suffocation and intimidation of a victim. He has since been released from jail and he denies the accusations, but it does put his future with the team in question.

The Cardinals have a logjam at running back. James Conner, Trey Benson and Bam Knight return. They signed Tyler Allgeier in free agency and drafted Jeremiyah Love third overall in the 2026 NFL draft. Conner and Benson might end up as potential targets for the Packers, should Jacobs miss time or released.

We have to wait and see on what will happen with Jacobs, but the Cardinals won't be able to keep all five of their backs. Trading one, if they can, makes a lot of sense.
