Buffalo Bills trade, stockpile draft picks in Round 1 of 2026 NFL Draft
· Yahoo Sports
The Buffalo Bills watched and waited for the 2026 NFL Draft board to fall to them, and then they decided to trade back. The Houston Texans came calling, and Aaron Wilson reports they sent the Bills the 28th pick, pick 69, and pick 167 (all in this year’s draft) in exchange for picks 26 and 91.
With the 28th pick in the the draft, the Bills chose to move back again by trading pick 28 to the New England Patriots in return for pick 31 and pick 125. That set Buffalo up to make their first pick with the second-to-last pick in Round 1.

Buffalo’s haul from its third trade of Round 1 netted them picks 35, 66, and 101 from Tennessee in exchange for picks 31, 69 (from trade with Texans), and 165.
Following the moves, Chris Brown reported that Buffalo’s front office took “7 total picks & turned them into 9 to move just 9 spots back from 26 to 35. With that, the Bills’ night was finished.
