Derrick Henry and the Baltimore Ravens suffered another ugly loss on Thursday night, this time falling 33-10 to the Jacksonville Jaguars at M&T Bank Stadium. Amid growing chatter about his future, the star running back made it clear he is not thinking about going anywhere.

Henry was asked after the game whether he expects to remain with the team for the rest of the season, given Baltimore’s struggles. He quickly shut down the idea.

“I’m not mentioning me going anywhere else. I’m saying let’s go back to work, try to get better and turn this around,” Henry said, via Cordell Woodland.

The question came after ESPN’s Dan Graziano flagged Henry as “someone to keep an eye on” ahead of the trade deadline. The 32-year-old turns 33 in January and is set to earn $12 million next season, none of which is guaranteed.

It has been a frustrating stretch for Henry and the Ravens. Baltimore has now lost four straight games, dropping to 4-5 and last place in the AFC North. Injuries have played a major role, with both Lamar Jackson and Tyler Huntley landing on injured reserve. That forced undrafted rookie Joe Fagnano into his first career start on just three days’ rest, and he completed 10 of 18 passes for 60 yards with two interceptions.

Henry’s own struggles continued. He finished with 57 yards on 17 carries and took 10 direct snaps, marking his fourth straight game with fewer than 60 rushing yards. Justice Hill provided Baltimore’s lone touchdown with a 65-yard run in the fourth quarter, with the game already out of reach.

Still, Henry made some history in the loss. He passed both Jerome Bettis and LaDainian Tomlinson to move into seventh place on the NFL’s all-time rushing list, with Curtis Martin next in his sights.

Meanwhile, the Jaguars improved to 6-2 behind a balanced effort. Trevor Lawrence connected with Parker Washington on a 50-yard touchdown before halftime, and Cam Little knocked down four field goals.

The Ravens will have extra time to regroup before hosting the Los Angeles Chargers on Monday Night Football on Nov. 16. Henry’s comments suggest he wants to be part of the turnaround, but Baltimore’s front office could face some tough decisions if the losing continues.
