De Miguel died on Tuesday after suffering a cardiac arrest during a Spanish second-division match on Monday following a violent collision with Andorra goalkeeper Jesús Owono. The keeper, who was sent off for the foul near the halfway line, is being investigated by police.
The burial will take place in Navahermosa, the family's home municipality in the province of Toledo, broadcaster Cadena SER reported on Wednesday.
The family have thanked people for their condolences but, according to the club, have asked fans "to fully respect their privacy at this terrible time." He leaves behind his partner María and their daughter Carla, born in June 2025.
The players, coaching staff and club management of Tenerife will attend the funeral.
The club will also pay their respects at a service at the Heliodoro Rodríguez López Stadium on the Canary Island on Saturday, with all fans invited.
The club have declared a six-day mourning period and suspended all activities of their men's, women's and youth teams until the end of the week.
'Hardest days of my life' - Owono
The league match against Granada scheduled for Saturday has been postponed. Andorra also requested a postponement of their next match.
According to Spanish media, Tenerife's chief prosecutor José Luis Sánchez-Jáuregui believes criminal proceedings over the incident on the pitch are very unlikely despite the police investigation.
But Owono faces a long ban from the Spanish football federation (RFEF).
"These are the hardest days of my life," the 25-year-old said in the statement from his club, his first public comments since the incident.
"It is hard for me to find words, and it is very difficult for me to comprehend what has happened. The loss of Jesús pains me infinitely."
The Equatorial Guinea international said that many questions still need to be answered and he would face everything that comes his way "with the utmost respect."
He added: "But at the moment, I honestly can think of nothing else but Jesús and the pain we are all experiencing. Rest in peace, Jesús."
