DJ Moore, Ed Oliver Return As Bills Announce Inactives Against Ravens
· Yahoo Sports
Rest easy, Bills fans; reinforcements are on the way. Looking to get to 6-1 this season and stay at the top of the AFC, the Buffalo Bills have announced their inactives for Week 8, and for the first time in weeks, it doesn’t include a certain pair of players.
Returning to the lineup this week are wide receiver DJ Moore and defensive lineman Ed Oliver. Both have been out of action since Buffalo played New England with a shoulder and knee injury, respectively, but are expected to be full go against the Baltimore Ravens.

That takes us to the inactives for the week.
Seven players are out, including three who went into the game questionable after practice this week.
Sitting out against the Ravens are WR Skyler Bell, CB Dee Alford, S Jalon Kilgore, LB Mike Danna, G Ar’maj Reed-Adams, T Spencer Brown, and DL Greg Gaines. Danna, Kilgore, Bell, and Reed-Adams didn’t have any injury designations, but just aren’t dressed for the game.
Regarding Brown, he made it seem all week that he was planning to play against Baltimore. He's long suffered from back issues, and said early in the week that it was about managing the pain and that the coaching staff trusted him to know if he could play or not. Clearly, despite being limited on Friday, he didn't progress enough to where he would be able to play and be effective against a stout Ravens defensive line.
The inactives being what they are also means that all three call-ups from Saturday—defensive back Te’Cory Couch, safety Geno Stone, and cornerback A.J. Woods—are dressed and ready to play. How much they play will likely depend on how the game unfolds.
Kilgore being out seems to signal that Stone and Couch may have a larger role in Sunday’s game than originally expected. With Bell being scratched, Moore should be a focal point on offense for the Bills and play a full allotment of snaps.
Finally, for Buffalo, TE Dalton Kincaid, despite being questionable with a chest injury and in a red non-contact jersey all week, is active and expected to have no restraints.
On the Ravens side of things, seven players are inactive. That includes WR Elijah Sarratt, FS Jaylinn Hawkins, CB Chandler Rivers, G Emery Jones, DT Aeneas Peebles, QB Joe Fagnano, and rookie G Vega Ioane.
The Bills and Ravens kick off at 1pm ET on CBS Sports. Ian Eagle and Ross Tucker will have the call.
