During the portion of Wednesday's practice that was open to media members, safety Talanoa Hufanga (ankle) was the only member of the active roster who was not present. Hufanga has missed the club's last two games and might be in danger of missing another.

Meanwhile, cornerback Pat Surtain (ankle), wide receiver Jaylen Waddle (chest) and defensive lineman Zach Allen (hamstring) were present for the portion of Wednesday's practice open to the media, but we won't know their level of participation until the full injury report is released later today. Surtain has missed the team's last three games, but he returned to practice in a limited capacity last week.

Waddle and Allen both went down with injuries during a 30-16 win over the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday. Allen said, "I'll be fine" following Sunday's game. Waddle has an uncertain status going into Week 8, but 9News has reported there's some hope he'll be able to play on Sunday.

Denver's scheduled to practice again on Thursday and Friday before releasing a final injury report with game statuses for Sunday's showdown with the Chiefs. The winner of Sunday's game will hold first place in the AFC West.
