The Milwaukee Brewers won tonight's game, thanks in part to a jinx by the Fox Sports pregame hosts.

The three hosts, Derek Jeter, David Ortiz and Alex Rodriguez all picked the Tampa Bay Rays to beat the Brewers in Game 3. Right after they did, Jeter noted the curse.
"That means Milwaukee wins," Jeter said jokingly before the game.

But the joke was on the Fox hosts. The game was close through five innings when the Brewers had a 2-0 lead. But the Brew Crew scored eight straight runs with two outs to jump to a 10-0 lead in the middle of the fifth inning. The Rays pushed across one run to lose 10-1.
The Brewers now have a commanding 3-0 lead in the World Series. Only one team in the history of baseball has come back down 3-0, that was the 2004 Boston Red Sox. A 2-0 lead is already hard enough to come back from. Teams with a 2-0 lead in the World Series went on to win the championship 81% of the time.
Game 4 of the World Series is Tuesday night. It isn't too late to hop on a plane to Tampa and see the Brew Crew live.
