The Tampa Bay Rays are one game away from making the World Series after beating the Cleveland Guardians 3-1 in Game 5 of the ALCS on Sunday night.

The Rays are not letting their control go, asserting themselves as the superior squad in Game 5. It was a defensive game as both teams only combined for four runs, but Tampa Bay had the upper hand with an excellent performance from the bullpen to secure the victory.

“The Tampa Bay Rays are one victory away from the World Series. They knock off the Cleveland Guardians, 3-1, and now are up 3 games to 2 and a date with the Milwaukee Brewers in the World Series. The Brewers had the best record in the NL. The Rays had the best record in the AL,” league insider Bob Nightengale wrote on social media.
