‘NFL Is a Complete Joke,’ ‘Every Teammate Should Look at Him With Disgust’ — Ex-Steelers DT Goes Off As Packers Star Josh Jacobs Is Cleared to Play
· Yahoo Sports
The NFL announced on Friday that Green Bay Packers running back Josh Jacobs will be removed from the Commissioner Exempt List, making him eligible to practice and play from next week. Jacobs has already missed the first five games of the season and is set to miss a sixth on Sunday.
After the news of Jacobs’ eligibility was announced, former Pittsburgh Steelers defensive tackle Breiden Fehoko slammed the NFL’s stance on the matter.

Breiden Fehoko Slams NFL’s Decision on Josh Jacobs
During Friday’s segment of the “Fehoko Show,” Fehoko was critical of the NFL’s decision to remove Jacobs from the commissioner-exempt list and charged his Packers teammates with showing their derision over the decision.
“So sick of the NFL just having this whole contradiction about how they pick and choose on how they wanna discipline guys, what they wanna go into partnerships with, who can do what, who can tell you what to do and what not to do,” Fehoko said. “I’m sick of it. The NFL is a joke, a total joke. And every single teammate that is in that locker room that has a sister, a significant other, a mom, an aunt, a grandmother.
“That is a teammate of Josh Jacobs should look at him with disgust. If I was his teammate, I’d tell him to (expletive) off. I’d tell him to his face, ‘You’re a (expletive) piece of (expletive). Because I don’t respect men who put their hands on women any type of way. I don’t care if it was a soft push, a love tap, you never put your hands on a female. Coward.”

Jacobs was arrested in May in connection with the incident at his home and was placed on the commissioner-exempt list on August 30. The Packers star pleaded no contest to misdemeanor charges of battery and criminal damage to property on September 10, was fined $1,000 plus court costs on the battery charge, and entered a deferred judgment agreement on the property-damage charge.
The woman involved in the incident has declined to participate in the NFL’s investigation and has not been interviewed, with her attorney citing privacy concerns.

The league’s investigation under the personal conduct policy is ongoing, meaning that Jacobs could still be suspended. The games Jacobs has already missed would count toward any suspension levied on the running back, and any additional games would have to be served.
Earlier this week, the running back filed a civil suit seeking an injunction and protective order to prevent records from the case, including the surveillance video, from being released publicly.
Jacobs joined the Packers two years ago after five seasons with the Las Vegas Raiders, who selected him No. 24 overall in the 2019 NFL Draft. Last season, Jacobs earned a PFN Running Back Impact score of 76.5 (No. 16 in the NFL) after registering 929 rushing yards and 13 touchdowns on 234 carries, adding 282 receiving yards on 36 receptions.
