Weather delays 5A regional tennis semifinals in Wichita Falls

The Class 5A regional team tennis tournament in Wichita Falls has been delayed at least six hours on Thursday because of rain in the area.

Regional semifinal matches between Abilene Wylie and Frisco Lone Star at Legacy High School and Amarillo High and Frisco Reedy at Memorial High School were originally scheduled to begin at 9 a.m.
As of early Thursday afternoon, though, play has not started. The earliest possible start has been pushed back to at least 3 p.m.
The regional final is scheduled for 9 a.m. Friday, Oct. 16, at the Rose Park Tennis Center in Abilene.
Any additional changes to the tournament schedule will be updated as more information becomes available.
