According to NFL insider Ari Meirov, Hunt refused the medical cart and was helped to the locker room instead.
The incident is concerning for Philadelphia, although the precise nature and severity of the injury have not been confirmed in the available reporting. Hunt’s decision to refuse the cart does not, by itself, indicate how serious the injury might be.
As of the latest available information, there is no confirmed diagnosis or official announcement establishing whether Hunt will return to Sunday’s game.

Eagles could face another defensive concern after Jalyx Hunt’s exit
Hunt’s injury comes at a difficult time for the Eagles’ defense. Philadelphia entered the London matchup with outside linebacker Jonathan Greenard already ruled inactive because of an ankle injury, leaving the team with fewer options on the edge.
Hunt has been an important contributor to the defensive rotation. He recorded 12 tackles, including nine solo tackles, through Philadelphia’s first four games of the 2026 regular season, according to his official team statistics. His continued availability matters as the Eagles attempt to generate pressure and contain opposing offenses.
If Hunt cannot return, Philadelphia may need to rely more heavily on its remaining edge defenders, including Nolan Smith and Arnold Ebiketie.
