Trey McBride remains the centerpiece of the Arizona Cardinals passing game, and he stayed productive in their 36-30 Week 3 loss to the 49ers. One week later, the star tight end landed at the center of a very different story. A heated sideline moment at MetLife Stadium spread across social media fast, and the league soon responded. Here is what the cameras caught.

The NFL said it is reviewing a moment in which line judge Jeff Seeman appeared to curse at Trey McBride during Arizona’s 36-24 loss to the New York Giants on Sunday. ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported the league’s response. The exchange came with just under five minutes left and the Cardinals trailing 27-24.

NFLPA executive director JC Tretter shared the clip on X and called for accountability. “This kind of behavior from an official towards a player is unacceptable,” Tretter then wrote.
He added that players face discipline when the roles are reversed. Under league rules, a first-time verbal offense against an official costs a player more than $33,500, according to Sports Illustrated.
