Caitlin Clark was flat-out dominant in Game 2, putting up 27 points, 15 assists, and 7 boards to push Indiana past the Aces 99-89.
But the real talking point came late in the fourth when she picked up her sixth foul and got sent to the bench, with a number of debatable fouls leading up until that point.
There has been plenty of eyes on the referees already in the series and throughout the season, which wasn’t helped by the altercation between A’ja Wilson and a fan.

The WNBA pool report officially confirmed why Caitlin Clark fouled out during Game 2 against the Las Vegas Aces.
Officiating crew chief Randy Richardson explained that Clark picked up her sixth personal foul for a landing zone violation in the lower defensive box. By league rules, a defender must allow an offensive player receiving a pass in that area sufficient space to land safely, which Clark failed to provide.
While the call sparked significant debate among fans, the official report leaves no doubt about the crew’s ruling, wrapping up a massive 27-point night for Clark.
The Fever guard also received a technical foul during the game for seemingly waving off a referee.
