Dana White reacts to Raoni Barcelos' UFC main event health scare

LAS VEGAS – Dana White says fighting is the last thing he's thinking about when it comes to Raoni Barcelos following his scary (and still mysterious) medical incident at UFC Fight Night 289.

On Tuesday, White gave his first public thoughts on the events that transpired in Saturday's main event. Barcelos lost consciousness during an otherwise innocuous sequence against Raul Rosas Jr. He was stretchered and transported to a local trauma center.
"Thank God he's doing well," White told MMA Junkie and other reporters. "He's doing well and he's up, walking around, talking, and yeah. ... It goes right in line with everything I always talk about and what we do. All the pre-fight medicals were triple-checked. Everything was good. There were six doctors here that night, three ambulances. He was taken straight to the trauma center, not to Valley (Hospital Medical Center). Everything was done the right way. The outcome was good."
Barcelos, 39, remains hospitalized as of the most recent updates. He recently posted a video from his hospital bed in which he said medical professionals continue to monitor him. Tests have come back normal so far, but his health remains the top priority, according to the UFC CEO, and Barcelos' return to action isn't even on his radar right now.
"Not even thinking about that," White said. "Who gives a sh*t, as long as the kid is OK?"
