Brazil and Barça await Raphinha update after half-time substitution

Brazil and Barcelona are awaiting an update on forward Raphinha after he was substituted at half-time of their 4-2 friendly victory over Australia in Sydney.
After scoring a 45th-minute penalty to level things up for the visitors the 29-year-old did not appear for the second half and was replaced by Real Madrid’s Endrick.

Local media reported a Brazil Football Confederation statement explaining Raphinha was “suffering from discomfort in his right thigh.”
Brazil’s next match is against India in Kolkata on Saturday but no decision has yet been made on what action will be taken in relation to Raphinha.
Barcelona’s first match after the international break is at home to Getafe on October 10.
