Jacoby Brissett Fantasy Week 3 Start or Sit: Leave Him Off Your Radar Entirely

Brissett heads to San Francisco sitting 24th among quarterbacks in PFN’s Week 3 rankings, and last week’s blowout did not deliver the garbage-time production we expected. Arizona went 3-of-12 on third downs and held the ball for under 23.5 minutes, with no one stepping up next to Trey McBride. The Niners are playing well, and I need to see the magic from late last season before I believe in it again. He is off redraft radars for me and out of my DFS pool.

Should You Start or Sit Jacoby Brissett in Week 3?

We thought that the Cardinals might get blown out last week and we were right.

We assumed that garbage time Brissett would show up and … well, no such luck. We could be in a similar spot this week against a Niners team that is playing well and with no one stepping up next to Trey McBride in this Arizona offense, how can you justify looking at Brissett with any level of confidence?

His offense went 3-of-12 on third downs last week and had under 23.5 minutes of possession. That disaster case isn’t always going to be in play, and hopefully he can find a connection with his receivers, but in terms of finding the fantasy magic from late last season, I need to see it before I believe it.

Brissett is clearly off of redraft radars and isn’t in my DFS player pool. For Week 3.
