The Pittsburgh Steelers' injury situation is somehow getting worse, as running back Jaylen Warren picked up a surprise setback ahead of the Week 3 matchup against the Cincinnati Bengals.

Courtesy of Wednesday's practice report, Warren, despite seemingly exiting the Week 2 matchup unscathed, was limited with a shoulder injury. The timing couldn't be worse for Pittsburgh, as fellow running back Rico Dowdle (toe) is also dealing with an injury and missed practice on Wednesday.

Warren, who signed with the Steelers as an undrafted free agent in 2022, has been an underrated playmaker for Pittsburgh over the past five seasons, recording 4,009 yards from scrimmage and 14 total touchdowns while averaging 5.3 yards per touch.
After rushing 21 times for 89 yards and catching seven passes for 61 yards, Warren is currently leading the team by a large margin with 150 yards from scrimmage. If Warren can't suit up in Week 3, it would be a tremendous blow to the Steelers' offense.
