Relebohile Mofokeng has produced another stellar display following his move from Orlando Pirates. Here’s the latest from Belgium.
Ex-Orlando Pirates star Mofokeng shines bright again
Spectacular form in the 2025-26 campaign earned Rele Mofokeng a move to Belgian Pro League side Union Saint-Gilloise. He followed Mohau Nkota and Mbekezeli Mbokazi out of the club, although Nkota has returned on loan. Mofokeng scored 10 goals and assisted eight times in 27 league outings last term. For Union SG, he scored the clinching penalty in a shootout win over Club Brugge in the Belgian Super Cup final in July. Mofokeng scored his first Europa League goal for his new club last Thursday in a comfortable 3-0 win over Viktoria Plzen. He’s also scored three times in five league outings. Union SG have won six matches on the bounce across all competitions, with Mofokeng claiming an assist on Sunday against Royal Antwerp.

Orlando Pirates march on with another win
Defending champions Orlando Pirates comfortably disposed of Marumo Gallants 2-0 on Sunday with goals from Kabelo Kgositsile and Nkosinathi Sibisi. Pirates are now one point adrift of leaders Sundowns, but crucially they have a game in hand and remain unbeaten after seven outings.
