Denver Broncos quarterback Bo Nix once again had to generate some fourth-quarter magic in order to come back from 10 down to the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 2. Nix led the Broncos' offense to 17 unanswered points in the final frame, engineering a 20-13 victory.

After leading the 17-point comeback on Sunday, Nix has led nine fourth-quarter comebacks since his NFL debut after being the 12th overall pick in the 2024 NFL draft. That mark is good for the fourth-most comebacks in that time, and second-most in team history. Nix has overseen 11 game-winning drives since 2024, the most in the NFL in those two seasons and change.
Additionally, Nix's five wins after trailing by at least ten points are tied with Lamar Jackson for the second-most since 2024, according to Aric DiLalla of the team's official website.

That's tied with Lamar Jackson for the second most in the NFL since the start of 2024.

Broncos wide receiver Courtland Sutton has seen Nix's magic up close and personal, and he spoke about Nix's competitive fire when the game is on the line.
"He’s a competitor," Sutton said after the game. "I know I say that all the time about him, but he's so much of a competitor that you [can] tell when he gets frustrated [or] when certain things aren't going the way he wants them to go — and not frustrated in like a, ‘I'm mad at someone.’ It's him wanting to be successful.
"It’s like there's like this glimmer. There's this glimmer in his eyes that's like, ‘Yes, I know y'all got me, and I got y’all. Let's go out there and go do it.’ I love Bo, and I love his competitive nature. [I’m] looking forward to watching him continue to do that over the course of the season.”
Nix certainly has the clutch gene when it comes to late-game heroics. He'll look to build on Sunday's performance as the Broncos now prepare to host the Los Angeles Rams in Week 3.
