Training Camp Day 3: A couple of changes as exhibition schedule approaches

The Penguins have made their most amount of changes yet to their three different camp teams – on the third and final day that they’re scheduled to still have three teams. It’s still not a whole lot but three new forwards joined Team 1.

With the first preseason game looming on Monday, Elmer Soderblom, AHL contracted Hugh McGing and 2026 first round pick Liam Ruck were the players bumped up to Team 1. Tanner Howe, Atley Calvert and Bill Zonnon were shifted off Team 1 to make room with Calvert going to Team 2 and the other two dropping down to Team 3.
Defensively the groups have remained static again today, and remained as initially put together since camp opened on Thursday.
