Special midfielder is coming to Liverpool
· Yahoo Sports
It has all been agreed, Liverpool are going to be signing a special midfielder.
We're all crying out for more midfielders at the moment. Andoni Iraola probably won't admit it publicly but he likely would have wanted more additions in the summer transfer window.

Right now, he has just three genuine first-team options in Alexis Mac Allister, Ryan Gravenberch and Dominik Szoboszlai to use in his double pivot.
Trey Nyoni has also been promoted. But so far Iraola has not given him a lot of faith, and James McConnell is a player who likely won't be at the club for long.
The situation is made even trickier because of the imbalance in that midfield department. There's something seriously wrong with the make-up of the squad, and particularly the midfield.
Why Dominik Szoboszlai and Ryan Gravenberch can't play together
Liverpool decided to extend the contract of both Gravenberch and Szoboszlai. They are contracted to the club for at least the next five years.
The duo are some of the most well-paid players at Liverpool, and the club has clearly made a big commitment to build the team around them.
But the problem is that, Liverpool cannot make a double pivot work with both Gravenberch and Szoboszlai.
The two of them are not necessarily defensive minded players. They are not effective at winning the ball back, and winning their duels.
And crucially, both of them are ball carriers rather than players who will look to release the ball quickly and involve themselves in the build-up.
Liverpool have signed a special midfielder
While all of this concern surrounds the midfield department, Liverpool have agreed a deal to sign Patrik Farkas.
The teenager joins on a free transfer from Blackburn Rovers and has already caught the eye at U21 level in pre-season.
Farkas joins his younger brother Erik at the club, who is very highly rated. But Patrik is also a special talent.
He is a player who I have followed since he was in Liverpool's U16 side. Back then he was scoring overhead kick goals and playing alongside the likes of Jayden Danns and Wellity Lucky - both of whom have made their debuts at senior level for the Reds since.
Farkas is an extremely technical player, but he also wins a high amount of his duels and he runs a lot.
In terms of his playing style he is a typical Iraola midfielder. It's why he is a player to keep an eye on. We've seen Lewis Koumas enjoying a revival under Iraola, perhaps Farkas could do the same.
