The Northern Cape could face disruptive rain, severe thunderstorms and damaging winds.
Eastern Namakwa faces a Yellow Level 4 warning for disruptive rain, with possible flooding of roads and settlements and major disruption to traffic.
Nama Khoi and Kamiesberg could experience severe thunderstorms with excessive lightning, while damaging winds could affect the eastern parts of the province.
Western Cape
The Western Cape faces a risk of disruptive rain and severe thunderstorms.
The Central Karoo faces a Yellow Level 4 warning for disruptive rain, with possible flooding and major traffic disruption.
The West Coast, Cape Winelands, Overberg and City of Cape Town face severe thunderstorms with excessive lightning, which could cause local injuries and power disruptions.
Eastern Cape
The Eastern Cape could experience severe thunderstorms and damaging winds.
The north-eastern coast and adjacent interior face a risk of severe thunderstorms that could damage settlements and temporary structures and disrupt power and communications.
Damaging winds could also affect parts of the province, while the extreme north-eastern coast faces another wind warning.
North West
The North West faces damaging winds that could damage informal settlements and disrupt power and communications.
Free State
The central and western parts of the Free State could experience damaging winds, with possible damage to informal settlements and disruptions to power and communications.
Limpopo
Central and western parts of Limpopo could experience damaging winds. Extremely high fire danger conditions are expected in western parts of the Waterberg District and Blouberg municipality.
KwaZulu-Natal
The KwaZulu-Natal coast faces damaging winds and waves between Port Edward and Richards Bay and the adjacent interior.
The conditions could disrupt small harbours and ports, make navigation difficult and cause localised damage to infrastructure and settlements.
