Five things to expect in USC’s matchup with Louisiana

· Yahoo Sports

It is once again game week for USC football! The Trojans will return to action on Saturday night when they host Louisiana at the Coliseum.

Priority to each game this season, I will be giving you five things to expect. So without further ado, here are my predictions for USC-Louisiana.

Bowman in the end zone

Several USC freshmen have already scored their first career touchdowns. This week, tight end Mark Bowman joins the party.

Williams touchdown pass

We are doubling up on freshman touchdown predictions this week. With the game again out of hand by the third quarter, backup quarterback Jonas Williams again sees notable playing time, this time throwing his first career touchdown pass.

To the Wafle House

Let’s stick with freshman firsts, but move over to the defensive side of the ball. This is the week that defensive lineman Luke Wafle gets his first career sack.

Splitting the difference

Speaking of defense, two weeks ago, USC gave up 26 points. Last week, the Trojans did not allow any. This week, I am predicting somewhere in between the two.

Through the uprights

Finally, let’s wrap things up with a special teams prediction. Through two games, USC has yet to attempt a field goal. That changes against Louisiana.
