Bayern Munich send Real Madrid clear Michael Olise transfer message: “No chance”
· Yahoo Sports
Real Madrid may have missed out on signing Michael Olise in the summer, but their dreams of bringing him to the Bernabeu in 2027 are still alive – for now. Bayern Munich were not prepared to let their prized asset leave in 2026, and while this stance was respected at the Bernabeu, their pursuit is not over yet.

Bayern are keen to offer Olise a new contract in the coming months, and this could include a release clause. Real Madrid may take advantage of this as early as 2027, despite having signed Yan Diomande from RB Leipzig after being informed that the Bavarians were not open to negotiations during the summer.
But if Real Madrid are to sign Olise in 2027, it will have to be in the summer. Bayern will not consider any offers that come in for the French winger during the winter transfer window, as reported by Christian Falk.
“There is absolutely no chance of selling (Olise) in the January transfer window. Bayern are not a club that normally deals in the winter; they won’t sell any players they need for their season. They want to win the Champions League this year. So, there’ll be no amount where Bayern could be persuaded into parting ways with Olise early. The former Crystal Palace man will play for Bayern Munich for sure this season and there’s no chance to get him. Not for Real Madrid, PSG or any Premier League club. He will stay put.”
Do Real Madrid need to sign Olise?
Bringing in a new right-sided attacker in the summer made a lot of sense for Real Madrid, given they did not have as much strength in that area compared to the left wing or at centre forward. Diomande was excellent for Leipzig last season, and while he has had a tough start to life at the Bernabeu, it is expected that he will come good.
On top of this, Franco Mastantuono will come back from his loan spell at Fiorentina, meaning that Real Madrid have two exciting players coming through the ranks on the right side of attack. Arda Guler has also impressed in that position this season, so there are big question marks as to whether Olise is actually needed.
That question can be answered as the season goes on. If Diomande fails to come good, or if Mastantuono struggles for form at Fiorentina, perhaps there would be scope for an Olise pursuit in the offices of Valdebebas.
