Glen Davis implies Boston Celtics teammate Kendrick Perkins part of NBA insurance fraud case

One might think Boston Celtics big man alum Glen "Big Baby" Davis might be happy he got out of jail early after having been sentenced to 40 months in prison because of his role in an insurance fraud scheme that he and several other former NBA players were involved in -- including a number of his former Celtics teammates.
Boston short-timer Terrence Williams was convicted as the ringleader of the scheme, and teammates like Keyon Dooling and Tony Allen were also implicated. Dooling served time as Davis did, but Allen managed to keep himself out of prison for his role. However, in a recent interview with Ian Bick, Big Baby suggested former Boston big man teammate Kendrick Perkins was somehow involved as well and not punished for it. "They literally wanted to make me out to be an example. There was a lot of people that got investigated," said Davis (h/t Cluchpoints' Josue Pavón).

“Kendrick Perkins, you see him on ESPN. Tony Allen—he was literally the third person on the indictment, with his wife," added the erstwhile Boston big man. "He's not walking in jail. Darius Miles—he's not walking in jail. And these guys got money, thousands of dollars."
"How'd I end up in jail and these guys are on probation, walking free?" he asked. "Their whole life is still intact. I think the NBA let the feds pick who they wanted to choose. 180 people were investigated(or) subpoenaed."
"We didn't hear about all those people. We just heard about the 22 people that got caught, or that got jammed in the situation. A lot of people pleaded out. They didn't go to jail. They didn't even go get time served."
It's worth mentioning that being subpoenaed is not the same thing with being charged (never mind convicted of a crime, and that Perkins was never publicly implicated. Does he know something we do not?
