The Seminoles will be looking to pull off the upset when the Mustangs come to town, opening as three-point underdogs in their first ACC game of the season. It is just the second time the two programs have met and the first time in Tallahassee, with SMU winning 42-16 back in 2024.
FSU opened the season with a 34-17 win over the New Mexico State Aggies in Week 0. It was not a great performance overall, but several players had strong showings and will look to take another step in their second game of the season. It will be SMU's first game of the season.
The ACC Network's pregame show, "ACC Huddle," will be in Tallahassee to preview the game. The game between FSU and SMU is set to start at 7:30 p.m. ET.
