‘Please no’ – NFL fans issue clear warning to Fernando Mendoza after what he did vs 49ers

The Las Vegas Raiders were back in action on Thursday for their final preseason game of the summer.
It was another difficult game for rookie quarterback Fernando Mendoza, who has failed to make any claim for the starting role over Kirk Cousins.

Klint Kubiak’s team have ended their preseason with a 1-2 record, but it was the individual performances that mattered more than the results.
However, there were a lot of eyes on how Mendoza performed against NFL opposition, and he certainly endured his struggles.
After ending the game 7/14, with two sacks and one interception, there was something very specific that fans were left warning the first overall pick about after the game in Vegas.

Mendoza ended his spell in the game on Thursday with a QBR of just 31, which speaks volumes for where he is at in his development.
In the third quarter of the game against the San Francisco 49ers, Mendoza successfully performed a spin move, but fans were not overly impressed.
‘Looking more and more like a bust with every single snap,’ replied one NFL fan after seeing the footage on X.
‘Least athletic spin move I’ve ever seen,’ said another.
Although Mendoza successfully pulled off the spin move, there was a clear feeling that he would not be so fortunate against a defence filled with starters.
Another fan was not moved by Mendoza’s spin: ‘Slowest spin I’ve ever seen’.
One fan was begging Mendoza not to try this again if he gets a chance in the regular season: ‘Please no more spins in the middle of the field lol’.
It has been a real mixed bag for Mendoza during the preseason, with Kubiak’s decision to start Cousins for the season-opener looking like the correct call.
‘Man he suck I ain’t even going to lie worst first overall pick in a while he just don’t look ready for the NFL,’ one fan said.
‘The Broncos gonna mess him up,’ said a Broncos fan.
