Fans of the Pittsburgh Steelers, rejoice! The 2026 preseason finale has finally arrived, and there are plenty of Steelers to keep a close eye on when the team hits the road to take on the Buffalo Bills.

QB Will Howard

It's safe to say that the Steelers' offense didn't have the game they were hoping for in the shutout loss to the New York Jets. A lot of the blame can be placed on Howard, who threw two ugly interceptions with the team primed to put points on the board. All eyes will be on Howard's performance against Buffalo to see if the young quarterback can bounce back.

WR Kaden Wetjen

Another Steeler who didn't have much success in last week's preseason loss was Wetjen. The Steelers drafted Wetjen, one of college football's best return specialists, to change the game on special teams. But he fumbled a punt and bobbled another against the Jets. Wetjen may be on the roster bubble and not even realize it, but a strong outing on Thursday could put him back in the Steelers' good graces.

RT Max Iheanachor

Iheanachor is set to make his preseason debut after suffering an apparent neck/shoulder injury several weeks ago. The timing couldn't be better, as the Steelers' offensive line has looked bad throughout the first two preseason games, while the rookie first-rounder looked incredible during training camp. Here's to hoping Iheanachor can infuse new life into the struggling unit.
