King Miller and Waymond Jordan can match famous Ohio State RB duo
· Yahoo Sports
In the 2024-25 season, the Ohio State Buckeyes won the national title with an elite run game. The Buckeyes had all sorts of weapons that season for their quarterback, Will Howard, including two 1,000-yard rushers. TreVeyon Henderson and Quinshon Judkins were both big reasons for the Buckeyes' success, and both are now in the NFL as starting backs for their teams. The USC Trojans may have the talent to match that type of success.
Thunder and lightning are one of the most dangerous combinations possible. King Miller, when he jumped onto the scene as a walk-on freshman, did not look back. Neither did the Trojans' offense. King Miller provided Lincoln Riley with the exact explosion on the ground his pass-heavy offense needed. Teams can not defend a gun-slinging quarterback like Jayden Maiava when there is a back with King Miller's skill set.

You could have one or two big runs in the drive with Waymond Jordan getting 6 yards per carry. He is a physically imposing back. Defenses will be gassed chasing the big plays and then will have to face Waymond Jordan, who will be ready to run through someone's chest. That type of run creativity will make the offense as a whole nearly unstoppable.
Qunishon Judkins was the back running through defenses, and Treyvenon Henderson was the back who was the home run hitter. That duo helped Ohio State go on a domiant title run. The Trojans' running back duo can help USC get the success it has been chasing for quite some time. Very reminiscent of the last time the Trojans had a tandem in the backfield.
