MILWAUKEE – Wisconsin volleyball did not have much time to dwell on its first top-10 loss of 2026 before facing another top-10 foe.
Not even a full day after getting swept by No. 3 Kentucky, the sixth-ranked Badgers are seeking a better result against No. 7 Louisville as part of the AVCA First Serve at Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee.

The Cardinals, meanwhile, are seeking their second top-10 win after besting No. 8 Texas A&M in four sets on Aug. 21. The Wisconsin-Louisville match will precede another high-profile matchup as No. 2 Texas opens its season against No. 12 Arizona State.
The Wisconsin-Louisville match will start at 3 p.m. and air on Fox. The Texas-Arizona State match will then start at 6 p.m. and air on FS1.
