Jett's Achilles Heel this week was his starts. He had an absolutely horrible start in the first race and a bad one in Moto 2. He moved forward in both races to finish with fourth overall with 5-3 results.
In Moto 1, Jett was as far back as 22nd; in Moto 2, he was as far back as 10th. Track conditions made passing difficult, and Jett lost too much time to challenge his brother for the victory.
This was only the third time in his career that Jett did not finish on the overall podium and the first time that he failed to do so without a crash or penalty.
This will send the championship to Ironman next week in a winner take all scenario

He kept Hunter in sight for most of the race and faded only at the end.
Unfortunately for Prado, that fade was enough to allow Jett to catch him and make a dramatic downhill pass on the final lap for second. Jett simply needed the points more than Prado.
Haiden Deegan finished second in Moto 1 after earning the holeshot, and like Jett, he had a poor start in the second race.
