Former Iowa basketball forward narrows transfer portal choices

The 6-foot-7 forward led Iowa with a team-high 20 points in the Hawkeyes' upset win over top-seeded and defending national champion Florida in the second round of the NCAA Tournament, too. Banks averaged 10.2 points per game, which ranked second on Iowa last season.
The Kansas City, Mo., native was one of six players that followed Ben McCollum from Drake to Iowa and was instrumental in helping lay the foundation for what McCollum is building in Iowa City. But, after receiving a fifth year of eligibility thanks to the Colorado injunction, Banks made it clear that his time in Iowa City had come to a close.
Earlier this week, 247Sports' Dushawn London revealed the four schools that Banks is considering. Banks will choose from finalists Gonzaga, LSU, Mississippi State and Oklahoma.

On Wednesday afternoon, the Sooners picked up a transfer portal commitment from former Villanova big man Duke Brennan, meaning Oklahoma's 15-man roster is set. That effectively trims Banks' list to three finalists.
